After the events of the first film, Hutch Mansell has to go on assignments for The Barber as an assassin to pay off the debt he owes after destroying a Russian obshchak. His relationship with his family has grown distant as a result, especially with his wife, Becca. Exhausted from his last assignment, Hutch tells The Barber that he needs a break to be closer to his family. The Barber agrees, although he warns Hutch that trouble follows him, saying, "Wherever you go, there you are". He plans a family trip to Plummerville, Wisconsin, which has an amusement park he went to as a child, promising Becca that he will leave his life as Nobody behind for the vacation. While at an arcade, Brady, his teenage son, gets into trouble with Max, a local teenage bully that destroys a plushie meant for Max's younger sister Sammy. This causes the whole family to be kicked out. When an employee slaps the back of Sammy's head, Hutch tries to ignore it but impulsively beats up the staff, drawing the ire of both Wyatt, Max's dad and the owner of the amusement park, and Abel, a corrupt sheriff. Wyatt wants Hutch and his family to leave the park, but Abel secretly sends his men to kill them.

WAR MACHINE SINOPSIS

In Afghanistan, an unnamed Staff Sergeant arrives to help his brother's broken down convoy. His brother tries to convince him that they should apply to become Army Rangers, when they are attacked by Taliban insurgents. Everyone is killed except the Staff Sergeant, who suffers a knee injury. The Staff Sergeant tries to carry his mortally wounded brother back to base but passes out before making it. When he wakes up in the hospital, he learns that his brother had already died, but he is awarded the Silver Star.

Two years later, the Staff Sergeant attends RASP to join the 75th Ranger Regiment, and is given the candidate number of 81. 81 excels at training but does not bond with his fellow recruits and refuses the role of team leader, despite his record. After he allows himself to nearly drown during an underwater exercise, regiment leaders Sergeant Major Sheridan and First Sergeant Torres question his mental state over his PTSD and insist he step down from the program to recuperate, but 81 refuses. Sheridan and Torres allow him to advance and assign him team leader for the final exercise, a simulated mission in the forest to destroy a classified aircraft and rescue its pilot. Around that time, reports come out of a suspected asteroid revolving around the planet breaking off in pieces.

During the exercise, the team is startled by an unknown blast in the sky, which knocks out communications, and finds a strange looking object by the creek, which the team believes is the classified aircraft. After detonating it with explosives, it remains undamaged and transforms into a walking machine that starts killing the team; they are unable to fight back as they are carrying blank rounds. 81's second-in-command 7's leg is severely wounded, forcing the other recruits to carry him. After the attack, only 81, 7, 15, 44, 109 and 23 are left alive. The machine affects the magnetism of their compasses, allowing them to sense when it is near. After escaping down river, they reach the cadre posing as the enemy force and find they have been eliminated by the machine. Seeing traces of impact from a mountaintop to the valley below, they deduce the machine is extraterrestrial and try to make it back to base in an APC. As the machine gives chase, the team finds live ammunition but discovers its armor is impenetrable. While 81 subdues the machine with a rockslide, the APC is destroyed and most of the team killed except 81 and 7.

Seeing the machine send up a signal into space, 81 takes 7 into the forest. 7 reveals that he knew 81's brother. 81 sees that the machine has a ventilation system and lures it towards a construction site. 81 pours rocks into the ventilation system, causing the machine to overheat and explode. 81 successfully makes it back to base with 7. Sheridan and Torres reveal that the suspected asteroid was actually an army of machines and they have started an attack all over the planet. When 81 reveals the machines' weakness, he is accepted into the Regiment and is assigned to lead the next assault against the machines.

Lieutenant Frank Drebin Jr. of the LAPD Police Squad singlehandedly dispatches a gang of bank robbers while disguised as a schoolgirl. Unbeknownst to him, this was a distraction to steal a gadget called the "P.L.O.T. ("Primordial Law of Toughness") Device" from a safe deposit box. Police Chief Davis reassigns Frank when his over-the-top law enforcement becomes a legal liability. While paying tribute to his late father Frank Drebin Sr., he prays for him to send him a sign of his approval, suggesting an owl as an example.

Frank investigates software engineer Simon Davenport's fatal car crash, deeming it suicide, but notices a matchbook at the scene. Simon's sister Beth, a crime novelist, argues otherwise, but Frank discourages her from investigating further. Frank finds Richard Cane, Simon's wealthy employer at Edentech, at the company's tech expo. After they mutually appreciate the Black Eyed Peas, Cane donates a self-driving electric car to Police Squad – which wreaks havoc with Frank behind the wheel – and invites Frank to his personal nightclub. Frank notices the matchbook found at Simon's crash site has the same logo as the nightclub.

Cane privately demonstrates how he will use the stolen P.L.O.T. Device to revert humans to their primitive nature, culling the population for his fellow billionaires, who will be safely insulated in a bunker. Frank, while interrogating one of the bank robbers, learns about the deposit box, which was Simon's, connecting the two cases. At Cane's club, Beth distracts Cane with improvised scat singing while Frank fights many goons to access security footage, discovering that Simon met discreetly with a journalist. Davis suspends Frank after Cane reveals Frank's activities. Beth stays with the demoralized Frank, and he finally considers moving on from memories of his late wife. Frank and Beth spend a romantic weekend at an alpine lodge. They have a threesome with a magical snowman, but the snowman turns violent after they neglect it, forcing Beth to kill it.

Frank finds the journalist murdered and is easily tricked into incriminating himself. He flees in the electric car, but Cane overrides the controls and attempts to kill Frank just as he did to Simon. Frank blows out the windshield, but is trapped again by the car driving head-on into balloons, bees, and a replacement windshield. He accidentally activates Clippy, who helpfully unlocks the doors. Meanwhile, Police Squad has been decommissioned. Beth reveals that Simon feared the misuse of the P.L.O.T. Device, but Frank suspects that Beth is using him and angrily leaves her home.

Frank captures Cane's henchman Gustafson and frightens him into confessing to Cane's plan to activate the P.L.O.T. Device at the New Year's ball drop at a mixed martial arts match. Frank heads to the match at the "Ponzi-scheme.com Arena", equipped with an earpiece that blocks the P.L.O.T. Device's influence. Beth plans to kill Cane, but he sees this coming as telegraphed in her book. Frank finds the P.L.O.T. Device inside the New Year's balls, but he loses his pants as he accidentally activates the lowering mechanism, indecently exposing himself to the entire audience, leading them to not respect his order to evacuate. Cane prematurely activates the P.L.O.T. Device, and mindless violence erupts throughout the city. Frank fights through innocents by ricocheting ejected handgun magazines, but cannot catch up with Cane, who is escaping on his electric motorbike. His father's spirit arrives as an owl, airlifting Frank and blinding Cane with its excrement. Cane folds in agony after one punch to the gut. Beth arrives, ready to shoot Cane in revenge, but Frank talks her down. Frank and Beth use the P.L.O.T. Device to calm the crowd and embrace lovingly as Cane is arrested. In the aftermath, as the credits roll, Frank faces "investigation" by "Internal Affairs" – actually the name of a tropical resort, where he spends his time with Beth.

In a post-credits scene, "Weird Al" Yankovic attempts to perform a show in Cane's bunker, only to find it completely empty, and gets frustrated and confused in the process.

Predator: Badlands Review And Sinopsis

Predator: Badlands is a 2025 American science fiction action film directed by Dan Trachtenberg and written by Patrick Aison from a story by Trachtenberg and Aison. The seventh installment in the Predator franchise

Dek is a Yautja runt from the planet Yautja Prime. Seeking approval from his father, clan leader Njohrr, Dek plans to hunt the Kalisk, an apex predator on the "death planet" Genna, feared even by Njohrr. Before Dek can leave, Njohrr arrives and orders Dek's brother Kwei to kill him, deeming him too weak for the clan. Defying the order, Kwei activates his ship to transport Dek to Genna, fighting Njohrr only to be defeated and lose an arm; Dek watches helplessly as Njohrr executes Kwei.

Upon crash-landing, Dek faces numerous dangers from Genna's flora and fauna, losing almost all of his gear. He reluctantly allies with Thia, a damaged Weyland-Yutani Corporation android, whose team was destroyed by the Kalisk. Thia offers to help Dek track the Kalisk. Later, they are joined by a friendly creature that Thia names Bud, which marks Dek with her saliva while they are camping out of gratitude to Dek for saving her from a wild beast and feeding her. Dek later reveals to Thia that his father killed Kwei, prompting Thia to teach him about the wolves on Earth, telling him that the alpha wolf takes care of the pack. Dek however remains adamant about being 'the alpha who kills the most.' Meanwhile, Thia's "sister", Tessa, is retrieved by Weyland-Yutani androids and repaired at their main base, where she is threatened with decommissioning if she fails her mission, and is told of Dek's presence on Genna and that Thia is with him. Joined by a Weyland-Yutani team, Tessa begins searching for Dek's group, stumbling across his crashed ship and finding his lost equipment - including cryogenic explosives.

After discovering the remains of her team, Thia attempts to repair herself, revealing the Weyland-Yutani team is on the way, as they aim to capture the Kalisk, and urges Dek to flee, saying he cannot kill the Kalisk. Feeling betrayed, Dek challenges the Kalisk alone with only his sword. The two fight, and though Dek manages to sever its head, the Kalisk regenerates itself and subdues him. Unexpectedly, it spares him after smelling him, but the Weyland-Yutani team arrives and captures them both.

Tessa congratulates Thia on the successful mission, then begins experimenting on Dek, but Thia intervenes, claiming that they can be more than what Weyland-Yutani demands from them. Seeing Thia's emotions as weakness, Tessa slates her for deactivation and orders her boxed up. Thia helps Dek escape the transport vehicle, tricking one of the guards with an explosive toy that cost Dek one of his fangs as a child. After venting out his anger over Kwei's death and realizing the meaning of Thia's words to him about the wolf, he decides to rescue Thia, creating improvised weapons out of Genna's natural environment and creatures. While doing so, he reunites with Bud and realizes she is the child of the Kalisk, who had smelled her saliva on him, and decides to rescue the Kalisk as well.

Dek and Bud infiltrate the Weyland-Yutani base, kill most of the guards and free Thia, who reunites with her severed legs as Dek reveals to her that Bud is the Kalisk's child. While Thia and Bud search for the Kalisk, Dek kills the remaining guards before being confronted by Tessa, who pilots a power loader mech and wields Kwei's plasmacaster. The Kalisk, freed by Thia, joins the fight and eventually swallows Tessa alive. After Dek and Bud each share a moment with the Kalisk, Tessa kills the creature with a combination of cryogenic grenades and plasmacaster blasts from inside its body, and prepares to kill Thia for her betrayal. As Thia severs ties with her "sister," Dek stabs Tessa to death and reclaims his brother's plasmacaster, while Bud tears off Tessa's head and spine.

Sometime later, Dek returns to Yautja Prime. He presents Tessa's skull to his father as a trophy and demands his own cloaking device as a reward, but Njohrr denies the request and orders his bodyguards to kill Dek. Quickly dispatching the bodyguards, Dek challenges and defeats his father in a duel, cutting off his arm and restraining him with his own trap. Njohrr attempts to barter for his life by offering Dek a place in the clan, claiming he was wrong about him. Dek rejects the offer, having found his own clan with Thia and Bud. An older and larger Bud bites Njohrr's head off, and Dek takes the cloaking device for himself, which a fully-repaired Thia congratulates him for. Njohrr's remaining clan members suddenly pull out their weapons just as a large Yautja ship appears from the horizon. As Thia wonders if the ship is friendly, Dek grabs his sword and reveals that it is his mother.

 SINOPSIS WONDER MAN

Wonder Man is an American television miniseries created by Destin Daniel Cretton and Andrew Guest for the streaming service Disney+, based on the Marvel Comics character of the same name. It is the 17th television series in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) produced by Marvel Studios, via its Marvel Television label, sharing continuity with the films of the franchise. Guest served as showrunner. The series follows actors Simon Williams and Trevor Slattery as they try to land roles in a remake of the film Wonder Man.

Struggling actor Simon Williams is fired from a small role in the series American Horror Story after delaying production by overthinking his character and making repeated requests for changes. He is dumped by his girlfriend Vivian the same day. Simon meets actor Trevor Slattery, known for playing the "Mandarin" as part of a terrorist plot,^[a] who informs Simon that he is auditioning for acclaimed director Von Kovak's remake of the 1980s superhero film Wonder Man. As Wonder Man was one of his favorite childhood movies, Simon begs his agent Janelle Jackson for a chance to audition but is rejected due to his firing and behavior. Simon gets the audition information from her computer and goes anyway. After seeing Simon panicking about how to approach the character, Slattery advises him to give a more natural performance which helps Simon in the audition. After the pair have drinks, Slattery is called by Department of Damage Control (DODC) agent P. Cleary to confirm that he has made contact with Simon, who is suspected of having superpowers and is considered unstable and dangerous.

After he was kidnapped from prison and held by Xu Wenwu's Ten Rings criminal organization,^[b] Slattery returns to Hollywood intent on living up to his mother's hopes for him as an actor. He is immediately arrested by the FBI and Cleary offers him the option of working for the DODC in exchange for not finishing his prison sentence. In the present, Janelle tells Simon that his Wonder Man audition impressed the casting director and he has been asked to do a self-tape audition for an independent film. Simon gets frustrated trying to film the audition himself, and seeing Vivian in an old self-tape video causes his powers to activate: his body releases an explosion of energy inside his apartment. Simon asks Slattery for help with the audition just as Cleary tells Slattery to use a device to hack Simon's computer. After unsuccessfully trying to film the audition at a self-tape studio, Slattery's apartment, and the house of Slattery's nemesis Joe Pantoliano, the pair return to Simon's apartment and film a successful take. Slattery secretly hacks Simon's computer and also discovers damage from the explosion.

Cleary is unable to find evidence of Simon's powers from his hacked computer. He tells Slattery that he needs to go to Simon's childhood home in Pacoima, Los Angeles, for the birthday party of Simon's mother Martha, using a wiretap to record his conversations. Slattery convinces Simon to take him and is introduced to Martha, Simon's brother Eric, and other relatives. While Martha is proud of Simon, Eric is dismissive of his career and Slattery finds that none of the other relatives are close to Simon or know much about him. Martha tells Slattery that Simon has always been lonely and she is happy that he has made a friend. Simon argues with Eric and unintentionally destroys part of the kitchen which Eric recently had renovated. Simon and Slattery leave the party, and Simon states that Slattery is the first person outside his family to know about his powers. He considers whether Eric is right and it is time for him to give up acting. Slattery decides to destroy the recording from his wiretap, just as Janelle calls to inform them that they have both been given call backs for roles in Wonder Man.

Filming for Wonder Man begins. Simon struggles to be personable with the crew and to communicate his thoughts on the script, but is helped by Slattery. Janelle informs the pair that The New York Times journalist Kathy Friedman is writing a profile on them, terrifying Simon who describes Friedman as a character assassin who could discover and reveal his secret. He becomes paranoid after learning that Friedman talked to Vivian, Martha, and Eric about him. Vivian reveals to Simon that she knows he has powers, but she did not say anything about them to Friedman. During Friedman's interview with Simon and Slattery, Simon is surprised to learn that Eric spoke highly of him. Friedman grills Slattery about his latest arrest and asks him what government deal he cut to avoid returning to prison, prompting him to walk off. Confronted by Simon, Slattery confesses the truth of his deal with the DODC to spy on Simon but promises that he will find a way to get out of it. Upset and overwhelmed, Simon goes to a Wonder Man soundstage and unleashes a large explosion that destroys the set.

Simon returns to his apartment assuming that he will be caught. Slattery calls him to apologize and says he has a solution: Slattery revives his Mandarin persona and publicly claims responsibility for the explosion. Cleary knows that Slattery is just taking the blame for Simon, but goes along with it because the DODC needs more prisoners to justify their expensive Yucca Valley, California, prison. Following Slattery's arrest, Kovak insists they continue filming and tells Simon to use Slattery's betrayal for the scene where Wonder Man is betrayed by Barnaby. Wonder Man is finished with Pantoliano taking over the role of Barnaby, and the film is a success. Eric says he is proud of Simon. Janelle tells Simon that he now has his pick of what role to take next, and Simon decides to shadow a DODC guard under the guise of making a new film about him. This gives Simon access to the DODC prison, just as Cleary discovers that Simon's powers use ionic energy and proposes to his boss that Simon could be an asset. Simon uses his powers to break Slattery out of prison and fly away with him.

SINOPSIS PRIMATE REVIEW 2026 

At a house in a remote part of Hawaii, a veterinarian named Doug Lambert enters an outdoor animal enclosure and is attacked by a chimpanzee, which kills him by tearing off his face.

36 hours earlier, Lucy Pinborough, a young college student, arrives at an airport to return to her home in Hawaii after spending years away. She is accompanied by long-time friends Kate and Nick, but is dismayed to learn that Kate has invited an additional guest, Hannah, without prior notice. While boarding, the friends meet Drew and Brad, two college-aged men looking to party in Hawaii.

The friends land in Hawaii and drive to Lucy's home, an elaborately designed house embedded into a cliff. Her father Adam, a famous novelist, is deaf and primarily communicates through sign language. Lucy's sister, Erin, complains that Lucy has been away for too long. It is revealed that the chimpanzee is Ben, the family's pet; he is highly intelligent and has been taught to communicate using custom soundboard software on a tablet by Lucy's late mother, a linguistics professor. He is overjoyed when Lucy gifts him a teddy bear.

Later that night, Ben begins acting strangely. Adam finds a dead mongoose in Ben's enclosure and discovers that Ben was bitten by it. He plans to take the mongoose to a lab the following morning to run tests and asks Lambert to check on Ben before leaving to participate in a book signing. Later in the day, as the friends party by the outdoor infinity pool installed at the cliff's edge, a now-rabid Ben kills Lambert and escapes his enclosure.

After everyone goes to sleep later that evening, Kate wakes up to find Ben shambling around mindlessly. Frightened, she alerts Lucy only to find Ben has vanished. Lucy then picks up Ben's teddy bear, finding it stained with blood. The girls hear a commotion coming from the pool and discover Ben acting aggressively toward Nick and Hannah. After getting Ben to settle down, Lucy and Nick attempt to restrain him with rope. This backfires, triggering a violent outburst where Ben bites Erin, and everybody jumps into the pool. Hydrophobic and unable to swim, Ben watches the group and stalks the perimeter of the pool.

When Ben leaps to the cliff-facing edge of the pool, Nick attempts to push him off, but is instead tossed over the edge by Ben and falls to his death. Ben finds ways to inflict various wounds on the others, until Lucy retrieves a large pool float that enables them to rest safely. When the friends awaken, Ben has disappeared. Kate joins Lucy on an expedition to retrieve a smartphone from the living room, but is killed when Ben crushes her head with a rock. Meanwhile, Adam receives a text message from the lab saying the mongoose tested positive for rabies, which he ignores, but decides to walk out on a potential film deal and starts to head home after Lucy has been unresponsive to his texts.

Having been invited by the girls earlier, Drew and Brad arrive at the house, oblivious to the danger, and search the house for the girls. Drew is cornered by Ben in Lucy's bedroom, and is killed when Ben tears his jaw off. Brad finds the girls outside, but Ben ambushes him and beats him to death with a shovel. Hannah sneaks into the house, retrieves a smartphone and car keys, and runs outside, but mistakenly enters the wrong car. She frantically begs a 911 operator to send police to the house, but is mauled to death after Ben finds the correct keyfob and uses it to enter the car.

Adam arrives at the house and fights off Ben with help from Lucy and Erin, stabbing Ben with a shattered wine bottle. Believing they killed Ben, the family embrace until Ben gets up and attempts one final attack toward Lucy, sending them both over a balcony. Adam saves Lucy, while Ben falls and is fatally impaled by a broken chair leg. The police and doctors, having traced Hannah's call, arrive as the family recovers in the front yard. Erin is taken to the hospital while Adam and Lucy reassure her that she will never be alone again. Lucy is startled when an officer, collecting Ben's soundboard for evidence, accidentally plays the phrase "Lucy bad".
